In the Library
November 1 - December 14, 2025

Though paper books are considered obsolete in 2025, they remain enduring symbols of knowledge and personal growth. A library is more than a collection of books; it is a landmark of education and a sanctuary for quiet reflection. Across towns and cities worldwide, libraries hold a spiritual resonance for visitors. Entering one often evokes the same reverence as stepping into a church, mosque, or temple. To break the silence feels akin to interrupting prayer or meditation, and for many, the act of reading itself carries that same sacred quality.
In The Library is an exhibition of artworks that honor these objects. Each piece either depicts or incorporates books, reconnecting viewers with their own intimate experiences of reading. Literature, whether fiction or nonfiction, forms who we are and how we move through the world. By reimagining books as visual art, the exhibition invites us to reflect on what we choose to feed our minds. Our hope is that visitors leave with a renewed awareness of the stories and information that shape their lives.
