(American, b. 1967) Anthony Burks is a Florida-based conceptual artist working across charcoal, pen and ink, pastel, watercolor, and colored pencil. A graduate of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, he has received multiple awards, including several Best of Show honors. Burks is the co-founder of ATB Fine Art Group Inc., which he has operated with his wife, Trina Slade-Burks, for over 30 years, collaborating with a range of organizations and initiatives.
In addition to his studio practice, Burks has exhibited widely in galleries, museums, and art fairs, and has co-curated exhibitions such as Continuum at the Palm Beach Arts Fair, Collaboration: African Diaspora Exhibition, Karibu, and Boys II Men Art Expo. Through both curatorial work and arts education, he has supported artists at all stages of their careers while fostering broader access to artistic development and appreciation.
